Spring Flowers in the Gardens!

Conie fong Shop

Conie Fong is the current sponsor of Classic Design Team Open Challenge. I chose Spring Flowers for my inspirational Design Team card.

I colored this adorable image with Prismacolor Pencils. The colored image was put in the Craft Artist 2 program and merged with a background created by my husband Sandy Brooke. The original picture was taken at Washington Oaks State Park in Florida.

I hope my card will inspire you to participate in the Classic Design Team Open Challenge, where anything goes.

I'm looking forward to seeing your work.

Cameo 17 Morgan's Image of the Month for September

https://my.digitalgoodsstore.com/faeentertainment
It's time for challenge #20 at Morgan's Artworld. Each member of Team B used the September image of the month (Cameo 17) for their Design Team inspirational card.

I colored Cameo 17 using Copic Markers and merged it with various elements from digikits in Craft Artist 2.

As you can see at the challenge each team member's work is different using the same image. It would be really cool to see what you can do with this lovely digital image. The new challenge theme at Morgan's Artworld is anything goes.

Sweet Pea Baby Card

http://scrappersdelights.com/
http://scrappersdelights.com/
The challenge at Scrapper's Delights is still open for your entry. For my Design Team inspirational card, I chose Sweet Pea. I colored him in Copic Markers, but my two favorite colors are still dry. I am waiting for the refills to arrive. So I decided to try an alternative color to E00 and chose E01. I think Sweet Pea looks great and I've learned to make some new choices in my work. I cut him out leaving a narrow white edge.
I matted the basic white card with card stock. I cut a baby dresser and teddy bear using the Sizzix Thinlits Dies. The dresser is embellished with adhesive pearls. Both were glued to the plaid card stock. I placed soft pads on the back of the image, giving him a 3D illusion when he was popped onto the card.

I'm looking forward to seeing more entries to the challenge at Scrapper's Delights, where anything goes.

I cut out Petra and Fifi and placed soft pads on their backs. These were adhered to the printed background to give a 3D illusion.

I colored this beautiful creation with Copic Markers and a bit of Micron 01 Fine Line Pen. I cut the image out leaving a narrow white edge. I cut a few tiny butterflies using a Martha Stewart punch. I layered two pieces of card stock onto a black base card and adhered the lovely colorful image on top. I embellished the card with the tiny butterflies.

If you belong to another Design Team, you can share your work with us on the World Wide Open Design Team Challenge, where anything goes.

Disco Card

http://maridigisstore2.blogspot.com.br/search/label/Girls
http://maridigisstore2.blogspot.com.br/
A new challenge has just begun at Mari Digis. I'm continuing to practice with my Copic Markers and as I do, I am seeing improvement each time. For my Design Team inspirational card, I chose B83 Disco. She was colored using Copic Markers in the following colors:

E000, E00, E13, E15, E18, R20, C5, B000, B00, B02, B05, YG61

I cut around the lovely colored digi leaving a narrow white edge. I picked out suitable card stock to give my card a disco era look. Patterns, shapes and black and white are layered and the cut image was adhered to the top and placed on a blue base card.

I hope my disco card has inspired your participation in our new challenge where anything goes.

Copper Steampunk Card

https://www.etsy.com/uk/listing/243707635/digital-stamp-printable-coloring-page?ref=shop_home_active_36
http://nikkiburnette.com/
The current sponsor of Crafting from the Heart is Nikki Burnette. The image I chose for my Design Team inspirational card is Copper.

I used Copic Markers, Recollection Metallic gold pen, Gelly Roll Metallic gold and Red Star pens and Sizzix Gadget Gears Bigz Die to design with card.

After coloring this wonderful image using Copic markers, I copied and printed it directly from my Epson Printer. I loved the resulting print, which now has a slight reddish look to it. As a result I used the print to make this steampunk card. I'll save the original in case I want more in the future!

I cut the printed image out and used soft pads to adhere it to a gold metallic card stock, which was then glued to a black card base. I used my Cuddlebug Die Cutting Machine to cut a gear from silver metallic card stock and cut part away. I glued the piece of gear to the top left corner of the card to balance the card design.

I hope my card has encouraged you to take part in the challenge at Crafting from the Heart where anything goes.

To a Classic

My wonderful hubby is having a birthday this month and I thought he would enjoy having a card using a photo he shot and some old cars. For the old cars I used a file I have called "Classics," from Deedee's Digis. I chose to use the pre-colored images of two cars and merged them with my husband's color sketch of the Starlite Diner in Daytona Beach, Florida. The images and the color sketch went together well in the Craft Artist 2 program. I added text to the bottom right. I printed the picture once with everything included and then I printed the red truck again and cut it out. To give the card more depth and an illusion of 3D to the scene, I used soft pads. I added pearls to the hubcaps. I adhered the printed scene to a black base card.

I know my hubby will love this card!

Birthday Girl Card

I recently won a few lovely Crafts and Me digi stamps from the Open Minded Crafts Challenge. As soon as I saw Birthday Girl by artist Hannah Lynn, I knew I had to color her and make her a card.

The image was colored using Copic Markers and cut out leaving a narrow white edge. This shape was adhered to two layers of card stock and on to a white base card.

I really enjoyed coloring this little cutie and plan to work on more!

The current sponsor of A Snowflakes Promise Challenge is A Day for Daisies. The image I chose for my Design Team inspirational card is Christmas Shopping.

I used Copic Markers to color this lovely vintage image and then cut it out.

I printed a vintage background from the My Craft Studio Program. I adhered the background to a black card base. I used soft pads to give a 3D illusion and adhered the image to the top of the layers on the card.

Juliet Card

Circus Time!

http://scrappersdelights.com/store/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=89_209&products_id=933
http://scrappersdelights.com/store/
A big event has come to Scrapper's Delights, artist Janice Cullen Collyer is celebrating her birthday and Scrapper's Delights has hit over 3,000 likes. so that means a huge party!

Since the party theme is "Circus," I designed a poster collage canvas incorporating the Circus Clown Bongo Ball image. Bonzo Ball was colored using Prismacolor Pencils and then cut out.

I used a lot of left over pieces from the Graphic 45 Le Cirque collection to adhere to the background of the poster and topped it off with the cut Bonzo Ball, which I had put soft pads on the back to give the illusion of a 3D image.

Our family loves clowns, when I lived in New York State, we would to to the shore in New Jersey to watch the Clownfest Parade. The last time we went I dressed as a clown and got to lead the parade! Professional clowns and those just dressing as one all gather there each year!
Years ago my father-law Tony Brooke painted a clown picture for my birthday, as I so admired others he had done.
I'm looking forward to possibly seeing circus themed entries on the Scrapper's Delights challenge!

Peaches a Baby Card

http://scrappersdelights.com/store/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=89_186&products_id=693
http://scrappersdelights.com/store/
There's a new challenge starting today at Scraper's Delights. I chose Fruity Babies Peaches for my Design Team inspirational card.

I colored Peaches using Copic markers and then cut her out leaving a narrow white edge. I adhered two layers of scrapbook paper onto a white card base. I cut a baby dresser from using a Sizzix Thinlits Baby Dresser Card Set and embellished it with adhesive pearls. Then I adhered the dresser to the top of the card layers. I put soft pads on the back of baby Peaches and stuck her to the top of the card creating the illusion of depth.

I hope you like my baby card and will check out the shop at Scrapper's Delights for other Fruity Babies.
I love this one so much, that I had to try her with different colors, she is so cute!
You can join the challenge at Scrapper's Delights and display your card and have a chance to win some wonderful digital stamps!

Butterfly Dreams

https://sellfy.com/p/MEyS/
http://www.artstampsstore.com/
The current theme at Morgan's Artworld challenge is to use Kraft paper. Since I just got my request for Fae 18 Butterflies, I thought I would try them out on this paper. Something a bit different for me, but I'm up to a challenge.

First you need to know that Fae 18 Butterflies has 4 butterflies all in one digi. The digi was placed in the Craft artist 2 program. I used the Cut Studio to separate the butterflies and chose to use 3 of the 4. I placed them in a line and used text at the bottom left.

The design was saved and printed on the brown Kraft paper. I trimmed the print to fit on a black base card leaving a border. The print was adhered t the card.

Maybe next I'll print on white card and use my Copic Markers!

I hope you will try this paper and display your results on the challenge at Morgan's Artworld.

http://faeentertainment.ecrater.com/c/1952423/art-stamps-by-morgan-fitzsimons
Morgan's Artworld is the current sponsor of the challenge at Creative Ladybirds. I chose Valentine 2
for my Design Team inspirational card.

I used Copic Markers to color this pretty floral design. I used the following colors:
Rose: R22, R24, R27, R35
Leaves: YG17, YG61, YG67
Stems: YG63

I cut out the design leaving a narrow white edge. I trimmed a die cut sheet from a Recollection Paper Pad and layered it over the blue shaded card stock. The two layers were adhered to the top of a white base card and the rose was glued on top.

I hope you liked my card and plan to take part in the challenge at Creative Ladybirds, where anything goes.

Anemone Corner Birthday Card

http://digistamps4joy.co.za/eshop/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=5&products_id=475
http://digistamps4joy.co.za/eshop/
The theme for challenge #128 at Digistamps4joy is ATG with an optional color twist. I chose to make my Design Team inspirational card using the color chart, where you need to pick 3 out of the 6 color, plus a freedom to use black and white.

The image used was JA71-DS47 Anemone Corner. I used my limited supply of Copic markers to color this lovely floral corner. The following are the colors I used:
Y13, Y11, YG17 and G99

My lighter green YG17 was not as light as the lime in the color list and so I lightened it a bit with the Copic Blender Marker. I cut out the colored digi leaving a narrow white edge.

I cut mats of black and olive green card stock and layered them together on to a white base card. The cut digi was adhered to the top. Small green adhesive pearls were placed in the center of 2 flowers.

I cut the sentiment out on the Cricut machine using the Beyond Birthdays cartridge. It was adhered to the layered card.
Another version of the same design in another choice of colors! Copic Markers used were:
 YG13, G99 and RV55
I'm looking forward to see the choices you made entered into our challenge at Digistamps4joy.
